More of our friends who have passed over the Rainbow Bridge....
There is a legend that says the souls of our friends who pass away cross the Rainbow Bridge to the beautiful, peaceful fields of the Summerland. They are met by their friends who have crossed over, and they are healed of all woes and hurts. They wait for us to cross one day, and meet us with joy! Here are those who have passed over-we love you and miss you, and are looking forward to seeing you again.

BB Butterball
Our 18 year old cat Butterball passed away last night. (March 12, 2011) at the age of 18 1/2. He was featured last time on the homepage on his birthday. He was preceeded in death by his brother, Ares, and his mom, Momfuzzy. He lived outside all his life. He was a great soul, who loved his food and his kittyfriends. He loved to cuddle any kittens around, and loved his salmon treats. He was a GK, neutered at 6 months. He died in his sleep, and is now frolicking with his brother and Mom in the Rainbow Fields. Good bye, old friend, you had a long, loved life. I miss you already! |

Gandalf the Grey, Wanderer
About seven years ago, in 2004, I rescued a tiny kitty from a pipe cap at work. His mom had left him behind. As he grew, we realized he was severely crosseyed, so we kept him. We introduced him as our "Links Page" cat at seven months old, where he has been ever since. He developed "polycystic liver disease" three months ago. This afternoon, in the green grass, gentle winds, and birds singing in the yard, he joined his friends Columbus and Almeera over the Rainbow Bridge at 3:30 PM, April 23, 2011. We will miss our lovely friend, and he will still remain on our links page. Goodbye, Gandalf the Grey, Wanderer-wander the sweet fields ofthe Summerlands with your old friends until we meet on the Bridge! |
Beloved Boudicca
Beloved Boudicca has crossed the bridge at 1:00 Am this morning. She was the face of our rescue for so many years, and a special friend of us. Dad found her bloody and screaming in his yard. She had a fractured skull, wounds on her head and ear, and yet she survived all that to be a loving, friendly lover of a cat. I will miss you, my friend. She passed peacefully tonight, and her badly tumored front paws are now healed. I miss you, already, and will look foreward to seeing you on the other side of the rainbow bridge.

Rascal Has Given His Last "High Five"
Rascal has passed away this morning-04/17/2012. He died peacefully in my arms after a fast illness. He was the last of his line. He joins his mom, Picaboo, sisters Biscuit and Athena in the peaceful fields of the Summerland. He was nearly 10... He always gave me a "High Five" with his paw whenever he jumped up on my lap. I will miss him dearly, but he is now with Boudicca and Chip-Ear who have both gone on in the last three weeks. Goodbye, Rascal!

My husband and rescue partner of 25 years Bob has joined our beloved pets and rescues in the Summerland over the Rainbow Bridge. He was my enabler, and he has joined his buddies Gandalf and Columbus in those green fields with all those who have gone before. Enjoy your jubilee celebration! Goodbye, my second love-love never dies-I will join you all when it is my time to go. |
